I think sometimes people are afraid to write about good things in dark times. I think I sometimes fear folks will think I’m shallow, but there is nothing shallow about stopping for joy and letting it fill you up. Laughter and joy heal. Thanks for sharing the beauty in your week.
That was something! No matter how much our heart aches for what’s happening, we continue to wake up every morning and do what needs to be done to keep our sanity. The little things that shed light in this dark world
The two main times there's been a anti-semitic murders in the world in the past few years, I've been at weddings while they happened. Once, I saw and thought: "I will think more about this later." The other I didn't know about until afterwards. As a fellow light-seeker, I thought that was a perfect poetic representaiton. I am often in awe of how much joy and pain can exist in the same world. And there they were, at the same time!

Beautifully expressed, Katie--the poetry, your commentary, your generosity of spirit. All good. Thanks. I needed that.

Me, too, Terrell.

I actually paid for an app that limits social media on my phone and my mental health has been so much better.
I love this. It really makes a difference!
I couldn't agree more.
