Perfect timing - as so often with your newsletters Katie. We had our first 2022 (virtual) meet up with our volunteers today and the group was pretty much split over whether to return to in-person, continue online or a blend of the both but your advice to just plan one session at a time rather than try looking too far ahead met with unanimous support - thank you! They also liked the idea of small achievable intentions so sending them all the link to this issue, I'm sure it will be enjoyed.

Oh my gosh, I love this! Thanks for letting me know. Congrats on finding a middle ground that everyone agreed on.

Yes! I do hope your test is negative and whichever way it goes that everyone recovers easily and quickly. I actually bought this little monthly journal called a "Silk & Sonder" from a FB add in late December. It has intentions for each week and "one thing" for each day. I love this so much! Then I learned about WOOP which is a cool way to take that intention, imagine what it might feel like if you did it, then imagine one thing that might get in the way and how you might deal with it if that thing came up. Using it for just one small thing for a day (5 min exercise) feels so doable. And on the podcast I listened to she really talked about it being a 5 min thing, feeling based and let it go the next day whether it happened or not. Hi Karen! I listened to that episode a while back and forgot all about that exercise. Thank you for reminding me! I'm going to give it a re-listen :) And thank you for the well wishes. I just got my test results back and it's negative. Whew! It truly feels like dodging bullets these days. xo

Hey I hope your test is negative. I had my first positive covid test after 5 days of symptoms. I feel so much better than I did and I had a mild version I truly believe thanks to my vaccine.

Anyway my "resolution" this year was to take care of me. Do more things for me and self care cos I'm the only one I have for real in this world. I need to be my own best friend and lately I haven't been so good to me. Took on too much and did too little for me last year. So here I am and then I get covid. But I am hanging in there and am much better but it's coming on the 2 year anniversary of my mother's death and I am trying to keep a positive view and stay healthy in a mental capacity as well.

Hope you are healthy and ok and I'm thinking of you. Xoxo.

Oh Laura, I love that resolution but I'm sorry it's been tested so early on in the year! I hope you continue to feel better and that the 2-year deathiversary isn't too brutal. I'm sending you lots of love as you continue to take care of yourself.

(And my test was negative! Just got the results. Feeling very relieved.)

That's good to hear! My vaxxed and boosted self still got what I can only guess is omicron. I heard on the news that with this wave that most Americans will get covid. What a bummer right... I had it and am better. I've been a lot sicker in the past. This was super mild just more annoying than anything 🙄
